NeuroJustice is an innovative digital education platform developed by Cyberstronomy Pty Ltd, designed to help neurodiverse Victorians - including those with autism, ADHD, and other cognitive differences - safely and confidently navigate interactions with law enforcement.
Through AI-driven personalisation, co-designed learning, and realistic scenario-based simulations, NeuroJustice builds skills in communication, emotional regulation, and understanding of legal rights. The goal: to reduce misunderstanding, trauma, and escalation during police encounters - and to foster trust between neurodiverse citizens and law enforcement.
Neurodiverse people often experience heightened vulnerability in encounters with police. Communication or sensory differences can be mistaken for non-compliance or aggression, leading to unnecessary escalation or criminalisation.
A number of Victorian cases have underscored this risk - and the urgent need for accessible, empowering training designed for neurodiverse individuals themselves.
NeuroJustice directly addresses this gap by providing interactive, accessible, and evidence-based education that builds confidence and understanding in a safe digital environment.
NeuroJustice uses adaptive artificial intelligence to tailor each learning experience to the user’s individual cognitive and emotional profile.
The platform includes:
🎮 Scenario-based simulations (e.g. roadside stops, ID checks, interviews) designed with input from accessibility advisors.
🔊 Multi-sensory learning tools - simplified language, clear visuals, and pacing controls to reduce anxiety and support comprehension.
🧩 Gamified learning elements that encourage progress, reflection, and self-regulation.
🌐 Full accessibility support, including Auslan, simplified English, screen reader compatibility, and offline access.
Each experience builds self-awareness, emotional control, and practical knowledge of legal rights - empowering neurodiverse individuals to respond calmly and effectively in real-world situations.
NeuroJustice is proudly developed by Cyberstronomy Pty Ltd, a Victorian-based technology organisation with expertise in AI education, digital safety, and neuroinclusion. Our partnerships ensure the platform is scientifically rigorous, community-informed, and socially impactful.
NeuroJustice represents a new model of inclusion - one that recognises the right of every individual to feel safe and understood when interacting with the justice system.
By empowering neurodiverse citizens through self-paced, accessible, and AI-enhanced education, we aim to:
Reduce police misunderstandings and prevent unnecessary escalation.
Increase self-confidence and knowledge of rights among neurodiverse individuals.
Foster empathy and trust between communities and law enforcement.
Ultimately, NeuroJustice will contribute to a safer, fairer, and more inclusive Victoria - where neurodiverse people can engage confidently with the institutions that serve them.
Cyberstronomy is seeking partners from education, justice, and community sectors to help bring NeuroJustice to more Victorians.
If you’re a school, disability organisation, advocacy group, or law enforcement agency, we’d love to collaborate with you.
